Steve spent 25 years in high tech electronics at Power-One, NASDAQ "PWER" and served as CEO/Chairman, where he led an MBO in 1995, an IPO in 1997, completed 6 acquisitions and helped grow Power-One from $60 million to a Billion Dollar Company, and the second largest Solar Inverter company in the world. Power-One was acquired by ABB in 2013.
In 2010 Steve formed a new firm, Erev3.com providing advice, CEO Mentoring, and Venture investing to young hardware Technology Companies focused in the areas of Clean Tech and Electronics Hardware Technologies. Erev3 partners typically take an active Board Advisory role in businesses where they invest capital.
One of Steve’s recent projects included "A Zero Carbon Footprint Malibu Estate" that is one of the largest "Green" Net Zero Energy LEED Platinum homes ever constructed; using LED Lighting, Geothermal Energy, Solar Thermal and Solar PV, Water recycling, Total Automation, and near Zero Maintenance.
